In May of last year I quit going to the Kingdom
Hall. I wanted time to be free from the thought control of continuous meeting attendance, for the express reason, that I had
determined to make a thorough, scholarly
investigation of the Bible as it relates to the teachings of the Watchtower Bible
and Tract Society.
My heartfelt prayer to Jehovah for his guidance, direction and help in this matter, continues to
be answered beyond my greatest expectations.
I have read most of Pastor Russell's books, where he set dates of Christ's
second coming and Armageddon at 1799, 1874, 1881, 1914, 1915, 1918 (then they were changed to 1925, 1941 and 1975). Pastor
Russell's dates were not Bible based. He took the ideas from other groups and people and in his book(Study in The Scriptures,
Volume 3, 1891, The Time is At Hand Thy Kingdom Come, Pages 309-376) teaches that these dates are foretold in the Great Pyramid
in Giza. Pastor Russell calls it God's stone witness and Prophet. Explaining the measurements of the secret passages total
up to the dates of 1914 or 1915.
The pyramid is a symbol used in the new age movement, believing that pyramids and
crystals have psychic powers. This stems from Hindu philosophy. It's also a symbol used by Satanic rock groups who always
put them on their record album covers. It's a symbol of Egyptian worship of the dead and Pastor Russell is buried near one.
Pastor Russell also uses symbols and emblems of the secret religious cult of Free Masonry. He has these symbols on all his
books and Watchtowers. The Masons are a religious cult disguised as a charity organization who worship Jehovah, Satan and
the Egyptian gods and goddesses. They do secret blood rituals and use the term new light to change their minds on old truth
or old lies. They use the symbol of the Egyptian trinity (which depending what territory of Egypt your from) can represent
the Sun God Ra, the Goddess Isis, the God of the Dead, Osiris, or the winged snake Goddess Buto. This symbol, a circle with
wings is on all Pastor Russell's books. The International Bible Students only met in Masonic lodges; and most cults today
stem from men who are top rank Masons. Such as Mormons, Christian Science, etc. The May 15, 1956 Watchtower states in an article
called "The Great Pyramid of Giza" that any religious group who believes in the pyramid being from God is false religion.
Yet this is our roots.
The Watchtower's false prophecies, mistakes and changes are endless. They set dates for Armageddon,
stating that if you doubt the time prophecies of Pastor Russell, you doubt God himself. Pastor Russell claimed to be the faithful
and wise servant alone, the Laodicean messenger of Rev. 3:14. Yet, nothing he taught came true. Deut. 18:20-22 states if a
prophet speaks in the name of the Lord and that thing does not happen, he is a false prophet. Do not follow him. The 4-1-72
Watchtower, page 197 states that the International Bible Students, known today as Jehovah's Christian Witnesses are the modern
day prophets of Jehovah. Yet they cover up and deny their pasts Even training their members to say we never set dates, we
never said Armageddon was coming, which is an out and out lie.
Do you want to be associated with an organization who
lies to you in the name of God and then denies they did? They have changed the words and phrases in their New World Translation
of the Bible to conform to their own teachings. But a simple examination of their own Greek interlinear will hang them. Such
as all scriptures that say worship Jesus are changed to do obeisance (which is just an act of respect, not worship) even though
Greek spelling and text is same as scriptures saying worship Jehovah: Rev. 22:8 to Matt 2:2, Matt 2:11, Matt 28:9, Rev 19:4,
Rev 7:11, Matt 14:31-33, Matt 28:16-18, John 4:20, Rev 5:14. Also it says at Rev 7:9-16 (verse 15, temple of divine habitation,
also see Rev 11:19 and Rev 19:1 ) -- the great crowd are in the divine habitation of heaven rendering God sacred service day
and night -- divine habitation is not the earth.
They say John 1:1 is a god compare to John 20:28 same Greek is GOD.
Then they have to quote from Johannes Greber and his Bible, which was written with help from the Demons to uphold Watchtower
teaching of John 1:1. See Watchtower 2-15-56, Page 110-111. Also "The Word Who is He? According to John," 1962, page 5, see
footnote. By the way, there are no small or capital letters in the Greek, it's all the same. So they can't say GOD and a god.
As to the fact that we never said Armageddon was going to come in 1975, see Life Everlasting in Freedom of Sons of
God, 1966, page 29, Awake! 10-8-68, page 14, Watchtower, Aug. 15, 1968, page 498, Watchtower, May 1, 1968, page 271, Awake!
Oct. 8, 1971, page 26. The organization sets itself up in the place of Jesus, claiming to be our mediator (see Prince of Peace
book) 1986, page 10, paragraph 16. But if you read 1 Tim 2:1-6, it stresses three times that Jesus is mediator for all, never
does it mention 144,000 or an organization. 2 Peter 2:1 says there will be false prophets who will disown the owner who bought
them, like the Jehovah's Witnesses who say Jesus is not your mediator. Jesus is all we need. He is our personal mediator,
that's what the Bible says. But the Watchtower denies Jesus and says we must look to man (144,000) for our spiritual teaching.
Phil 2:10 says (see Greek Interlinear, the word OTHER is not in the Greek) Jesus' name is above every name, that in the name
of Jesus every knee should bow of those on heaven and earth and confess that he is their personal Lord and savior. When do
the Jehovah's Witnesses bow their knees in an act of worship to Jesus and confess him as their Lord? Jehovah's Witnesses only
bow to the teachings of the organization. I am soon to be baptized as an orthodox Christian in the name of the Father, Son
and Holy Spirit. Witnesses on the other hand, dedicate and baptize their life to the spirit-filled organization. I dedicate
my life to Jesus, not an organization!
John 17:3 says this means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge. The
word knowledge is not accurate (see Greek Interlinear). The Greek word is know or knowing, meaning intimate, loving friendship!
You can take in knowledge about Abraham Lincoln but that doesn't mean you knew him personally. Jesus wants us to know him
personally. When you ask Jehovah and Jesus to come into your heart to fellowship with you and be your best friend, then you
know them like John 17:3. They change your whole life around. They fill you with holy spirit who teaches you all things: John
14:26, Luke 12:12, John 16:13-15. All you have to do is ask: John 16:23-24. Then you learn what true peace, love, joy, happiness
and contentment are: Gals 5:22-25. I have this relationship with God and have no need for a man-made organization.
Jesus'
name means "Jehovah is salvation." The name Jesus glorifies the name Jehovah. The Greek scriptures stresses over and over
in the name of Jesus, have faith in the name, believe in the name, baptize in the name, gain everlasting life through his
name, ask anything in his name, heal in his name, raise dead in his name, power in his name, forgiveness in his name, expel
Demons in his names Acts 4:12: There is no other name under heaven for salvation. Eph 1:21-23 says: Jesus name is above all
names who fills up all things in all.
John 5:23 says that all must honor the son just (equally) as they honor the
father. That means worship equally. John 17:10-12: Jesus said, "Holy Father, watch over them on account of your own name,
which you have given me." John 8:12: Jesus is the light of life. John 20:31: Because of believing, you may have life by means
of his name, all you have to do is believe; not how many hours of door to door you do. Acts 4:12: Furthermore, there is no
salvation in anyone else, for there is not another name that has been given among men by which we must get saved. Stephen
prayed to Jesus in Acts 7:59 & 6 - (see Greek spelling of "Lord"). When do the Jehovah's Witnesses ever talk friend to
friend with their Lord Jesus? Acts 11:24-26 states that the true disciples were by divine providence called Christians. In
other words, followers of Jesus Christ, preaching Jesus Christ (not Jehovah's Witnesses). Romans 10:9 & 10 says to publicly
declare that Jesus is Lord (see Greek) and we are confessing our salvation. The Good News of the Kingdom is not ever lasting
life on a paradise earth. The Good News is Jesus Christ died for you and rose again: 1 Cor 15:1-4, Col 1:19-23 and 1 Cor 17:18,
23-24. Gal 1:8-9 says if any one preaches to you (read Gal 1:1-24) something beyond (The Good News of Jesus) let him be accursed.
Brothers I preach to you of the real Jesus Christ, who loves you and wants you to follow only Him, not a man-made
organization. Jesus is your mediator. If Jesus is only the mediator to the 144,000, then our prayers must go through the 144,000
before they reach God: 1 Cor 7:22-23. Read your Bible from Matthew to Revelation. All it talks about is our Lord Jesus Christ
who now owns us all. You don't need a church, or a religion or an organization. All you need is a good Bible, Jehovah God
(the real Jesus) and to be indwelt by the Holy Spirit: Rom 8:11 & 14, 1 Cor 3:16, 1 Cor 6:19, 2 Cor 13:14, 2 Tim 1:14.
Ask for truth from God on the matters, you have that right. It's okay to examine and put to the test your faith in the Watchtower
organization, because if it's truth, it will stand the test. Just like the ancient Bereans. Besides, light doesn't run from
darkness, darkness runs from light. Don't run away from this (so called apostate teachings), all it is is Bible scriptures
on Jesus. You're only running from Jesus.
John 17:3: This means everlasting life, that they be knowing you, the only
true God and Jesus Christ. Know the love of Jehovah and Jesus personally in your life, feel his love and his presence. You
can't work your way by going door to door through Armageddon.
You survive Armageddon by a personal friendship and
love with Jesus. It's a free gift, all you do is ask. Don't Just serve God out of fear of being destroyed or of not being
worthy, Know his love, his acceptance, his forgiveness. Pray for wisdom, knowledge and understanding of this, he won't disappoint
you: Matt 7:7-11.
John 3:1-36: Jesus says you must be born again to enter the Kingdom (it doesn't say heavenly or
earthly) it just says Kingdom. To be born again means having the holy spirit indwelt in you (the Greek word for born is generated,
verse 6-8). It means we are generated by the Holy Spirit. To accept Jesus into your heart. It's as simple as that! John 14;16-17
& 26 John 16:13-15 Rom.8:11, l Cor. 3:16, 2 Cor. 13:14 2 Tlm.1:14
As you can see, I have not been hasty in my
move, but have taken time to prayerfully weigh the matter and consider all the evidence.
I hereby exercise my constitutional
right under the Constitution of the United States, that guarantees freedom of choice of religion, to in fact, disassociate
myself from the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society. This letter
is in accordance with the provision made in the Kingdom
Ministry School Textbook, 1977 edition, pg. 61 & 62, which says - "If a baptized person insists that he wants to be no
part of the congregation and he wants his name removed from all our records, we can comply with his request. If he takes such
an adamant position, it would be well to encourage him to put his request in writing and it can be held in the congregation
files. In a case like this the Society should be notified and a brief announcement should be made to the congregation," and
later confirmed in the 9/15/81 Watchtower under the sub-heading "Those who disassociate themselves."
By the above
action, I have voluntarily resigned from the organization of Jehovah's Witnesses and do not recognize the Society or the elders
as having any authority over me at all. Since I have voluntarily resigned from the organization, and are therefore no longer
a Jehovah's Witness, I expressly prohibit you from disfellowshipping me or in any way defaming my character before others.
If I am disfellowshipped or am slandered in any way, I will have to take legal action against you. I do not bear any personal
malice against you, but I do recognize the position the Society has taken in these matters, probably due to the incredible
membership losses that they are experiencing.
Rather than be disheartened at the discovery that I have been misled
for over 34 years, I am filled with great joy and eager expectation of a continuing, growing, personal relationship with our
loving Father and his son, Jesus Christ.
