John 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (1) He
was with God in the beginning. (2) Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been
made. (3) In him was life, and that life was the light of men. (4) The light shines in the darkness,
but the darkness has not understood it. (5) There came a man who was sent from God; his name was John. (6)
He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all men might believe. (7)
He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. (8) The true light that gives light
to every man was coming into the world. (9) He was in the world, and though the world was made through him,
the world did not recognize him. (10) He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. (11)
Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God:
(12) children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God. (13)
The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only,
who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. (14)
As for ANY person or persons adding to or changing the word of God, Jesus said:
"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things,
God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book
of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which
are written in this book." Rev. 22 : 18 - 19.
Read Thomas' reaction to Jesus Christ and Christ's response;
And Thomas answered and said unto him, My LORD and my God. Jesus saith unto him, "Thomas, because thou hast seen me,
thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." John 20 : 28 - 29
Thomas, upon seeing the wounds Jesus suffered on the cross, declared Jesus to be his Lord and God. Jesus did not stop him
nor did He correct him. If Thomas was incorrect to say, "My Lord and my God" then Jesus would have instructed him
so. Instead, Christ answered the way He did and once again stated to all that He is God. This is the truth that cultists do
not want you to know. Praise Jesus Christ our Lord for caring so much for us!! He makes clear His deity and gives us the freedom
to choose. For what is greater faith; one forced to believe or one that chooses to believe?
